At Drimnagh Castle there is an extensive library at the disposal of students to cater across a broad spectrum of subjects. Ranging from full class collections of English texts and novels to rare editions of books for historical research, the library is growing continually. Here students also have computers with internet access allowing them to explore online catalogues.
Recently, the room was equipped with a data projector for students to study their English comparative modules as well as documentaries relating to subjects such as; CSPE, SPHE, Religon, Geography and History.
In keeping with tradition of the school, weekly chess games are organised during lunch time in the library. Here, players of all skill levels and year groups play both individual and team games. This culminates in a competition and awards ceremony at the end of the year.
